Rajaan Gupta (Raj) Founder CEO / CTO, graduated in 1998 from Los Angeles in Finance and Civil Engineer. After graduate Rajaan Gupta co-founded a Internet Marketing Company, ChannelCommerce.com in early 1999, where they sold promotional logos on function keys which directly routed traffic to Company’s website. Raj acquired 70% of the white box market, and contract with HP, Conexant as a project partner for directly print companies’ logo at the point of Manufacturing in Taipei and China. Some of the Customers they acquired were ebay.com, goto.com, Clinique, yahoo.com, Priceline.com, Microsoft, etc.
After the melt down of the dot.com, In 2002 Raj co- founded Health Data Logistics, Inc (RapidClaims.com), a healthcare PMS, medical billing software and Clearing house in a box. Later company was acquired by Diversified Data Design in 2006. Rajaan Gupta was with the company for 18 months transition period, and then moved to Independent Healthcare Technology Consulting. Diversified Data Design was later acquired by TransUnion in 2010. Raj founded Somega Healthcare Technologies to give a new look to healthcare transaction market in mid 2009.
Tarun Mitra Co-Founder Executive Director, started his career with Computer Point India Ltd in Delhi, thereafter Tarun joined Bharat Technologies Ltd., involved in buyout and turnaround of BIFR companies. Tarun joined Apech Ltd in Nov 1994 as Regional Business Head for North India, Moved to Dhaka Bangladesh in 1998 to establish operations for Bangladesh & Pakistan. Tarun returned to spearhead Middle East and North African operations in 2001 and subsequently spearheaded APAC & South African operations as Vice President.
Tarun left Aptech in June 2007 to start his entrepreneurial venture as a Independent consultant in South East Asia based from Singapore and Mumbai. During this period he got diversified exposure to Information, Network & Content Security, Software product sales (BSFI/Wealth Management/Point of Sale), Software as a service, ITeS Industry in Philippines and e-learning segments. Raj & Tarun also stared F&B and Entertainment business in Malaysia during this period and sold it off in 2009. Tarun joined Somega as co-founder in early 2010 to spearhead business strategy, strategic alliances, conceptualise the value added portfolio and channel development.
Arun Saxena, after a BE in Electronics & Instrumentation, worked with Tata Motors (Telco) and Bennett Coleman (TOI) in their IT teams. Subsequently, ran his software consulting firm with a focus on healthcare, telecom domains. During this period also obtained his Masters in Marketing Management from JBIMS. In 2004, Arun joined Aptech Ltd to lead the software applications function. After a small stint with a CMM Level 5 software company A G Tech, Arun moved into Edvance Learning in end 2008, an education start-up company founded by Arun Arora ex-President, Economic Times and Subhash Arora, co-founder HCL.
Arun joined Somega as co-founder in latter half of 2010 as head of IT and will oversee software development and India operations.
Tara Lindlah, Tara has more than 20 years of Information systems experience in Healthcare. Tara worked for a diverse range of organizations, including VisionShare, Inc as an Implementation Consultant, Edifecs, Inc. as a Program Manager, Avante Healthcare as CIO and Director of Claims Operations, Kaiser Permanente where she served as a Data Security Manager and US Department of Defense where she was a HIPAA Privacy and Security Officer for an Air Combat Command Air base. Tara is a qualified IT professional who holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information systems and Master of Science Degree in Technology Management from Pepperdine University. Tara will coordinate all aspects of Payer and provider implementation and key account management. |
